HOUSE

May 21st we bought our new house and said goodbye to our old house. We thought the best way to say farewell was with a bonfire with our neighbors. We ate dinner by the fire, then invited the neighbors to join us for s’mores. It was the perfect night.

Billy and I took the kids to school the next day and raced to the new house to start painting the kid’s rooms. We wanted to get them done before moving in the following day. We did get two of the three rooms done that day!

Since moving in, we’ve made a lot of progress and have really enjoyed our new home. The kids have adapted so well. They love the neighborhood. They like hearing the cows in the pasture across from our entrance and the train down in Booneville. Billy and I are enjoying the extra space and summer nights on the deck. We are all off to a great summer!
